COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

750ml bottle, cork exploded out of it and frightened the shite out of me. Pale, hazy gold, big pillowy white head. Smashing nose - cinnamon spice, herbs, belgian yeast, must, candi sugar, lemon zest and dried fruits. Classic big saison flavours, really sweet sugary malt and cinnamon. Fizzy carbonation lifts everything, dry in the mouth and nice and light. Tends toward the sour in the finish. Really nice.

Big offwhite lasting head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Fruity herbal sugary aroma with peppery funky dandelion notes. Sweetish herbal oily sugary taste with peppery funky notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, fizzy mouthfeel, even quite hot. Dryish funky sugary dandelion aftertaste with herbal Belgian yeast notes. Nice, drinkable, interesting, balanced. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

On draught at Volo. Mostly clear brassy gold with a huge lasting fluffy white head. Aroma and taste - subtle, balanced, great; light pear, some banana, grassy bitterness, tons of wildflower spiciness, a lot going on and not boozy or aggressive at all. Average to light body, a wisp of astringency, decent low-level carbonation and a moderately quick, dry, crisp somewhat bitter and vaguely acidic finish. Great stuff. I am having another, I think.

750 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a murky dull goldenrod with modest-sized but lasting white head. Aroma is flowers, citrus, other fruit and light spice. Flavour is effervescent lemon and apple, flowers, wheat and a sort of light peppery spice. Slightly dry in the finish. Nice.

Poured from a tap into a pint Appearance-golden, pretty with white foamy head. Aroma-sweet, grassy, yeasty. Taste- refreshing, hints of banana and clove. Yeasty in a good way. Palate-good fizzy tongue. Lasting carbonation. Pleasing. Overall- good refreshing summer beer with more than the average "summer beer" flavor. Would drink again even if it wasn't summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 75 cl, BBE April 2016. Pours hazy pale golden in color with a small white head. Citrus, mild soap and summer meadow in aroma. This truly captures the summer notes in aroma so well, it’s actually like walking outside in the meadow. You just keep go back sniffing on the aroma before taking a sip. Perfect carbonation as well to keep it refreshing enough. Taste is very crisp with some citrus and light peppery spicyness as well. Really tasty too and this was a perfect choice on this hot evening. Aftertaste is filled with citrus notes and some green grassy bitterness, even if that’s not too overwhelming. My best saison so far. Extremely smooth and crisp, which makes this very enjoyable.

On tap. Enjoyable summer brew. Yeasty aroma with grass and fruits. Taste is crisp, refreshing, easy drinking, with grassy, fruity hops coming thru. Good brew, that will drink again.
