COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

An excellent Saison, perhaps the best American version of its style (Ommegang Hennepin is also great). If you love the Saison style, this is a can’t-miss beer, inferior probably only to the best of Dupont. Highly recommended.

Very hazy golden copper pour. Course white head w/ lots of lacing. Lots of bright lemon and spice. Pick up quite a bit of wheat malt. Flavor is very similar. Tastes like a sorachi whet smash. Alright. ---Rated via iPhone

Skjuler alkoholen godt. Tørr og frisk. Veldig spennende og unik saison. (Den Gode Nabo, 28.04.13)

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2014 Current Rating [07/14/2014] Poured from 750mL bottle (best before Jul 2016). Slightly hazy pale yellow with large white head (quite active). Aroma full of citrusy yeasts, lemon, mild orange, spice. Taste has a definite lemon characteristic, very balanced, quite light, but still holds the complexity nicely. Not really getting any dryness from my previous rating. Wish the finish lasted a little longer. First Rating [04/26/2013]: Ar 7 / Ap 3 / Ta 8 / Pa 3 / Ov 14 (3.5) Poured from the tap. Cloudy straw yellow. Citrus, floral, yeast nose. Taste of orange, slightly bitter, dry. Medium mouth feel.

750ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Lively in the glass when poured with a big cloud of soft white foam that settles quickly. Hazy apricot colour with zesty fruit aromas, prunes and raisins. Great flavour with a big lively fruitiness and a musty earthy finish.

Bottle pour after my sister’s boyfriend showed up with this at my house. I think that "bright" is a good word to describe this one.

Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head that stuck around. Lots of carbonation, more then other Saisons. Aroma is earthy, citrus, funky and floral. Taste is some funk with a dry bittersweetness. Medium bodied with lively mouth feel and dry finish. Very good.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Dark Yellow/Gold Color with a mild haze but gets cloudier the more you pour. Aroma consists of Yeasts, Lemon Zest, Spice, Floral Hops, Barley, and Malts. Flavor has Pils-Malt notes upfront followed by floral hops, lemon zest, cracked pepper notes afterwards. Finishes with a dry bittersweet pils-malt aftertaste. Body is light along with the carbonation, giving it a nice crisp feel. Smooth flavor and body make this very easy to recommend.
