COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Poured from a 750ml bottle, thanks to blackipa. This beer is great! Huge lemon/citrus, spicy yeast and hop character, bright and spritsy. Nice dry finish. I enjoyed this very much.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a medium somewhat creamy white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is fruit, yeast, lemon, and some floral and spice notes Flavor is lemon, yeast, wheat, with notes of grass. Finish is lightly bitter but dominated by lemon and fruit.

Bouteille de 750ml avec bouchon de lige. #0402.

Trop facile boire.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2012 My Bottom Line :
This dry and fluffy Saison lines up lemongrass, mango and citrus fruitiness in a soft mouthfeel leading to balanced herbal hop bitterness and a relaxing lactic character.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A foamy head bobs atop the clear golden.
-Menthol allusions appear here and there.
-The bottle conditioning job is excellent.
-This is not a particularly complex Saison, but it reminds you that Saisons, like many beer styles for that matter, dont need to be complex to be highly enjoyable.
-Drinkability is very high for a 7%+ brew.

Bottles.

2012 bottle. Pours a beautiful light gold with a big fluffy white head. As soon as the cork popped a big fresh hops aroma poured forth. Sweet/spicy aroma like a hefe, but the piney hops bring a greats balance to the taste. Perfect, light, cry crispness with a slight hops bitterness on the end. Very strong, evolving palate that sticks around for awhile.

Tasted at beer dabbler. Not my favorite but lots of flavor really hoppy. Not a pleasant lingering after taste.
