COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is big sorachi....bubblegum, fennel, aniseed, coconut and plenty of heady herbal notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon sherbet, herbal, grassy, aniseed and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Too much sorachi for me...

Bottle as shown. Pours a pale yellow gold with a large frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a fruity malt with cereal and lemon. Thin mouthfeel with a dry hop with clove and cereal with a nice dry finish. Easy to drink hiding the alcohol well, a very good Saison from Brooklyn.

Draft at The Comet. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate herbs, citrus and yeast aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of short to moderate duration. I drank and would recommend this to a friend.
