Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop.Fermented with our special Belgian ale strain, we add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After 100% bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. It tastes like sunshine in a glass, and that suits us just fine, especially with seafood dishes and fresh cheeses.

355 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. BBF 06/04/2016. Light hazy pale lemon, ginger golden. Little white head. Nose is that blue cheese Sorachi Ace hop smell that I love so much, intense, spices, lemon, light ginger, touch floral, above everything, intense blue cheese, I love Sorachi Ace so much, this right here is it, damn. Taste is a bit more on the floral side unfortunately & less blue cheese, strong grass & floral bitterness, wine gums, juicy lemon, light ginger, lemon, orange peel, I would love to try a dark version / DIPA version so much of this one, very juicy, light touch of grapefruit, touch cantaloupe, touch of milt almost,… As much as I love this one with a touch more blue cheese this would be just perfect for me. Light sparkling, touch of booze. Almost vaguely reminiscent of Duvel but better for sure. This one I would love to buy all of the time. So close to what I love. This one has been a want of mine for many years & it is better than I expected. Wow, I wish this one was sold in supermarkets here. I was debating between 4.8 & 4.9 for this but it is just so drinkable – I can actually see this becoming a staple if distributed locally which is something I feel very rarely about any beer (we get Brooklyn Lager now so who knows) – it does serve a 4.9/5 as far as I am concerned. Wow, what a fabulous beer! Served at proper temperature. Poured with a good sized, white, foamy, frothy head that lasts a while and a bit of lace. Color is a clear medium yellow. Aroma is yeast, fresh hop that smells like weed, malt, grain, fruit and a bit of citrus. Flavor is similar but with the hop tasting only like fresh hop; good pungency which is true to style and a little sweetness in there to balance it all. Body is perfect mouth filling and almost champagne carbonation. Finish is like flavor and short except for the great burps! Wish I had more to make it a session. This is superb! cwalexander1 (14) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 18, 2011

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Nice cloudy appearance, fluffy white head. Aroma of champagne grapes, lemon, some dill, funky fruit. Taste of bubblegum, yeasty fruits, strawberry, lemon with a really lovely dry spicy finish. A true taste sensation. Teran (332) - Belgrade, SERBIA - SEP 11, 2015
Another proof positive that American beers are the best in this world! Commercial Brooklyn Brewery, but what a beer! Light hazy lemon colour with the unforgotable taste. Peace of art!
