COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Summer Ale is a modern rendition of the "Light Dinner Ales" brewed in England throughout the 1800's right up until the 1940's. They were also called "luncheon ales" or even "family ales", because they were refreshing and flavorful without being too heavy. We brew our Brooklyn Summer Ale from premium English barley malt, which gives this light-bodied golden beer a fresh bready flavor. German and American hops lend a light, crisp bitterness and a citrus/floral aroma resulting in a beer with a very sunny disposition. FOOD PAIRING Excellent with salads, seafood, quiches, and lightly spicy dishes. It's also great at a brunch. SPECS Style: English Style Light Dinner Ale Malts: Two Row British Malts Hops: German Perle and American Cascade, Fuggle, and Amarillo Alcohol: 4.5% by volume Original Gravity: 11 Plato

Pure white fluffy head on a a very pale golden , slightly effervescent. Tropical fruit & mango aroma. Medium bodied. Crisp & clean - a bit thin on the back. Not much to this one, light floral tastes with a faint fruity finish.

Bottle, 35,5cl. Pours clear light yellow color with small off-white head. Floral, light hopped and malty nose with some honey, citrus and fruits. Flavour is weak, malty and fruity. Some citrus, no real hop presence whatsoever. It was alright, and sure easy drinkable on a warm sommerday served cold. Otherwise not much to report.

Gul klar øl med pænt skum. Lidt bitterhed i både duft og smag. Frisk men kunne godt bruge lidt mere af det hele. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Biercraft on Cambie St in Vancouver. A pale amber beer with generous white head. Moderately hopped and malted, clean and refreshing, well balanced, an easy drinking summer ale with no world class pretensions whatsoever. 2.9

2.9
tfontana (1094) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is clear light yellow (urine-like) with mild head and lacing. Aroma is slightly yeasty floral sweetness, cracker. Taste is thin, lightly tart, without hop presence. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and tart, dry finish. Overall, it is certainly a light-drinking beer, true to its description, but other than some floral aroma there’s not much here.
