750 ml corked bottle, at a tasting with Garrett Oliver. Described as a "wheat wine". ABV was 9.1%. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Spicy and slightly oaky aroma, wheaty notes, some alcohol. Slightly spicy flavour, fairly sweet, some alcohol. Okay, but did not blow my socks off. Tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Barley wine??? I don’t think so. Anyways tasted spice, grapes, apricots, citrus, and dough. Ugly cat piss yellow color. Nice zest on palate. Overall light but complex. Decent lil brew boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2012
Draft. Pours clear copper with a finger of white head. Aroma is pretty sweet.. Almost Belgian. The taste had some orange and apricot. The mouthfeel is pretty silky. Lubiere (14262) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 28, 2012
A lightly orange amber barley wine with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a Belgian-like ale with fruity ester malt, chalky notes, coriander, a bit more like an Imperial Pils than a barley wine. In mouth, a sweet lightly maderized malt with oxidized spices, a bit watery, disappointing. On tap at Battleship. Pours a slightly cloudy color. Aroma is of hops, a little citrus, yeast, and wheat. Flavor is a little sweet. I can pick out some wheat, hops, grain, a little wine, and some booze. Leaves a boozy sweet yeasty finish. Not too bad. Not too bad at all.

Draught at TND: Aroma of wheat wine, yeast, candi sugar, and spicy grain. Poured amber in color with a tiny, tiny, off-white head as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges, that lasted throughout. Clear. Very slightly sparkling, Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of wheat wine, candi sugar, coconut, vanilla, slight wood, spicy grain, slight caramel, toasting, and fruity hops. Medium body. Slightly chalky, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Wheat wine, slight caramel, coconut, vanilla, slight caramel, fruity hop finish is heavily sweet and dry. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 19, 2012

Bottle @ Aarons place, Thanks. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, nuts, peach, grapefruit, marzipan, bitter hops. Taste is malts, nuts, peach, grapefruit, bitter hops, winelike. Medium body, higher than usual carbonation for the style and ABV, alcohol shows as a warming feeling in the finish. Different barley wine, reminds me more of a strong belgian blond, good none the less. 020312 mikem409 (2032) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - MAR 4, 2012

Pour out of bottle, big thanks to Tyler for the bottle! Pour is clear orange with thin to no white head, aroma has notes of white grape, peach, some pear, touch of biscuit, hints of caramel and toffee notes as well. Taste is nice fruity pear, peach some hints of bubblegum going into toffee, mix of toffee and biscuit, finishes fairly sweet, slightly warming. Nice brew, if a bit unrefined.
