Bottle at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Thanks to Garrett Oliver. Nice bretty, wood, wheaty, orange, fruity, apples, citrussy, light banana, spicy, light bourbon, coconut, funky. Lovely pleasant. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2009
Garrett Oliver beer dinner in Hillerød. Slightly cloudy golden beer with a lasting white head. Aroma has a rather strong bourbon and oak character, of the coconut kind. Spicy and fruity base beer aroma, and a little funk too. Dry fruity beer with an overwhelming bourbon character. I would love to have it again when the bourbon has mellowed and the brett has taken more charge. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 7, 2009
( 750ml bottle ) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of mustiness, horseblanket, citrus peel, vanilla, oak, and sweet tarts. Flavor of nuts, citrus, herbs, bourbon, and funkiness with a moderately dry finish. Rune (12753) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2009
Sampled from a big bottle at the meeting with Garrett Oliver at Slotskroen in Hillerød. Filmy, white head on top of a hazy, golden body. Dry fruity aroma with pears and a solid touch of bourbon. Very bourbon in the flavour developing into notes of late acid fruits and some hints of cheese. Unusual and interesting, but a bit too sweet (14.05.2009). jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 25, 2010

Bottle… Second Annual Treasure Coast Beer Fest... Pours hazy and golden with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is of vanilla, butter and pear. Full-bodied and silky with moderate carbonation. The flavor leans on the sweet side of balance with big notations of toffee and butterscotch; lesser notations of vanilla, oak and whiskey. The finish is sweet, and then tangy, and then dry. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 11, 2011
A little pre-lunch taste at HopCat before going on a cellar tour. Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is softly spicy with a kiss of light bretty minerality. A touch of honey and light lemon peel as well. Soft hoppiness with a little bit of brett character. It still has the honeyish palate of the regular local 1 coming through. Soft and chewy with a lightly lingering herbal character. A bit of soft yeasty spice on the finish. It’s pretty tasty, but the "wildness" is pretty subdued. A little bit of light tartness on the finish. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 5, 2012
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Bourbon aroma up front, with light fruity notes, spices, and a hint of tart fruit. the flavor has bourbon sweetness, sweet caramel malt, fruity and spicy yeast, just a touch of bretty funk, light tartness, and lightly toasted malts. Good shit.
