4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 mL bottle, room temperature... poured this into a wine glass and it is a pretty honey color, clear, thick... I gave it a swirl awhile ago and it’s still dripping down the sides of the glass. Aroma is dead on -- straight up apple pie. Just the faintest hint of alcohol, but not bad at all for 13%. Taste... again, wow. They really nailed the apple pie thing... sweet gooey apples, honey, cinnamon, it all comes together and it is exactly what it claims to be, apple pie in a glass. Would buy this again, would be an awesome treat for Thanksgiving dinner.
Huge apple presence in all ways, honey is a nice backbone, lots of flavor and reminiscent of pie DiarmaidBHK (6151) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 24, 2016

Sampled on draft at the meadery this mead poured a medium yellow-gold color. The aroma was sweet honey, apple, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The flavor was sweet apple, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done. BiiruBierBeer (1059) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 1, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2016 Cinnamon apple smell and taste. Being an apple pie mead, I have to compare it to Kurt?s Apple Pie from Moonlight. This taste like that with more cinnamon and a bit more booze. I prefer Kurt?s, but this is still great, especially if you love eating cooked cinnamon apples. Medium body.

Sample on tap @ Vintage Estates. Pours a clear straw yellow with no head. Nice aroma of baked apples and cinnamon with a hint of alcohol. Flavors of fresh baked apples with cinnamon and some biscuit. The honey and alcohol are not as overpowering in this one and let the true flavors come through. Crisp and clean finish. Very enjoyable. DialSquare (5187) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 14, 2015
On tap at Giant Eagle, Grandview. Haven’t explored mead much at all and we have this good local one, so need to start: gold pour, no head. aroma of cinnamon, brown sugar, apple. tastes are apple pie... guess they nailed it. nice spice, little boozy and oily palate. it’s good. booze knocks down sweet a bit - which is good by me. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2015
Clear honey/amber pour. Aroma has tangy apple, mild pie spice, and a touch of toasty honey. Flavor follows suit...just a bit out of balance between tangy/spicy/sweet and fairly boozy as well but still very nice. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is tangy apple/earthy almost oaky and very warming. trapped (3786) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 16, 2015
Bottle thanks to Jsquire. Clear amber, cinnamon and honey aroma, sweetish taste with strong alcohol overtones, delicious smooth and long finish. Impressive.
