Sampled on draft at the meadery this mead poured a pink-caramel color. The aroma was sweetish with honey, a vague herbal & floral note - maybe elderflower and a touch of phenol. The flavor was tart with vague berries and an herbal & perfumey note. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 7, 2015
flight at meadery. MEADERY not MEATERY. An odd one here. Very floral and spicy. Semidry base, moderate mouthfeel but not very drinkable, unbalanced flavors, I cant put my finger on the culprit, lots of oddities going on here for sure. tchaos (428) - New York, USA - MAR 23, 2015

Pours redish aroma is full on tea. Flavor is earthy tea, light Berry, and a touch of spice. Medium in body and smooth. On the dryer side refreshing! DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 26, 2014
Taster on tap at the meadery. Light orange pink red color, completely clear. Good, interesting, herbal tea notes in the aroma. Some juicy, fleshly red apple flavor. Moderate sweet taste, lightly slick, light bit of dryness. Medium to bigger body. Hides 14% well, could drink like 12%. Good, interesting stuff. Very potent and flavorful, a bit more assertive than the others. Lightly spicy in the finish. Very long, interesting flavorful finish. Nice spicy stuff.

Draft to taster at the meadery. Looks good; a still pinkish orange. Smells solid; tea, honey, and berries. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant mouthfeel. Good stuff. mikesaum (711) - Newark, Ohio, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Pours dark pinkish purple kind of color, looks kind of like juice, swirl gives it some nice legs. Aroma is sweet honey with spices and blueberry , the honey still comes through well. Taste is tea and honey up front then tart and sweet blueberry then back to a bit of a spice tea with a dry but not real dry finish. Very good mead that i would buy again. radarsock (1193) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Had tried during my week in Columbus with my good friend, Andy. Pours a clear ruby red; as others have stated, zero carbonation which is just fine and dandy with me. Smells right off the bat of steeped black tea leaves, lowbush blueberry fruit, citrus, caramelized honey, lemon balm oil and mint. Tastes follows suit. Ends vinous and dry, with notes of heather, honey and booze warmth. Glad I had the opportunity to try. JStax (6478) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Poured from a refrigerated bottle into a wine glass. Pours a lighter purple color. No carbonation. The aroma is lightly berry laden honey. The mead smells a touch off. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be that way, or what, but it’s lacking any sort of wow factor. Taste is fruity and continues to become more enjoyable as it warms. It’s a better mead than some. Tap. Poured clear ruby color with good legs. Moderate to heavy blueberry fruity, floral honey and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a thick smooth texture and long legs. Medium to heavy sweet fruit and honey flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Standout mead.
