phaleslu (10957) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Draft at Rhinegeist. Served in a tulip. Pours a hazed yellow with no head; like a less translucent lemon-lime Gatorade. No head. Aroma of peach, lemon-lime (not just in my head), honey, grapes, and minerals. Flavor of honey, peach, grape, and a good dose of booze. Medium-bodied, with no carbonation and a boozy, sweet, vinous mouthfeel. Not the most elegant BD offering, but good.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Bottle shared at Dan’s Birthday Tasting (Lyons, IL). Pours a nice striking straw yellow hue, bright glow, faint to no haze. A loose whitish bubbly film dies to nil, laces none. Aromas are peachy, cinnamon, gentle honey and apple. Some decent sweetness, touches of florals, pollen. A quite pleasant nose. Initial is medium bodied, a nice body, not too thin, with some good florals, gentle cinnamon. Touches of citrus, lemon, and gentle peach. Florals and honey, gentle pollen feel, earthy and a touch of clover jumps in. Middle a bit more mellow, subtle sweetness with peach, gentle cinnamon, and earth. Backend is a touch dry, honey, and earthy florals and honey. Finish is a bit sweet, sticky, a touch dry with florals. Nice flavors, not hot at all. A bit of spice. Quite nice.

Pours clear yellow and has nice legs with a swirl. Aroma is mainly honey and the peach is more subtle than i expected. Taste is mainly honey, some floral notes and a bit of spiced peaches. Pretty good overall, but i would like a little more peach flavor.
