Shinny, twinkling, citrus fruit and cereal nose. A beautiful and soft bitterness that disappears smoothly behind of veil of sweetness The flaunt is pretty long for a smooth beer.

A hazy yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of honey, while the flavor is sweet malty and again with notes of honey, but also with hints of caramel.

Blonde beer with a nice white head. Light citrus nose and clean malt in aroma. Light malty taste. Lighter bodied offering.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2004 Diacetyl projects sweet buttery perfumes...Worty dough playing within the watery ending...Some citrus fruit amongst the diacetyl...Boring, but with a purpose...

En fût. Arôme: Odeur de fruits et de beurre. Apparence: Col qui perdure et qui fait une dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Un léger goût de beurre. Palette: Légère acidité en bouche avec une belle rondeur. (Rating #9)

On tap @ Brouemont.

Appearance: Slightly hazy bright yellow with a small white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Herbal and grainy presence at first followed by an unpleasant unfermanted grains and white grapes impression.

Taste: Sligthly sweet. A bit tart which is a tad surprising for a pale lager with and interesting herbal presence but also weird white grapes notes.

Palate: Medium body. Lively carbonation. Grainy finish.

Overall: It’s drinkable but I wouldn’t say it’s enjoyable. The - rather mild - off notes doesn’t help.

(automne 2006)

On tap at the brewpub. Clear pale, thin white foam with light lacing. Aroma is grainy, light dusty hop, light acidity lemon grape, sulfite. Taste is tart, grainy, light acidity that seems a bit off. Palate is light, thin carbonation. Ok.

Sample at the brewpub with MartinT, tiggmtl, Taktik_MTL. Very clear gold, touch of head. Corn-sweet, lightly butterscotchy (diacetyl, though not as strong for me as for some), hints of cherry...fairly bland flavor, some fruitiness and hints of hops, decent body.

tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 6, 2004
Fruity and buttery aroma. Far too much diacetyl for a lager. Clear blonde-golden body with thin, white, fully-diminishing head. Crisp palate with decent carbonation. Some strong diacetyl in the flavour also with a rather yeasty finish. Fairly hoppy with decent bitterness. Light refreshing mouthfeel. Diacetyl would be a bit much in an ale (which this seems more like due to the fruitiness) and is definitely out of place for a lager. On tap at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Taktik_MTL.

rederic (3341) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 30, 2007
Golden blonde hue, with an off-white head, nice fresh cereal nose, with a sweet honeyish pale malt note, hint of vanilla spiciness in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a crisp fruity pale malt, with a mild flowery hop accent, leading towards a lingering mild dry hoppiness finish.
