Bree Louise, London. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, mildly fruity, wooden caramelly and sweet malty. Flavour is honey, sweet malts, resin and some nice floral notes. Finishes in a pleasant wooden and floral toffeeish balance.
First tasted this in Gabriels, Paisley in August 1997. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thick white head. Light aroma of meadowsweet and dusty hay. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a light digestive biscuit note with fruity citric flavours of gooseberry and kiwi. Dusty hop resins give an aromatic dry bitter aftertaste. Good malt and hop balance in the well rounded finish. A good session ale for hot summer days. Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - DEC 11, 2010

Cask, handpull at the Malt and Hops?, Edinburgh, with Craig, Jan, Charlotte & Loz, 29.10.10 Pours amber with a big white fluffy head. The aroma isn’t up too much. Taste is low-med bitterness, bit too much confectionary going on here for me, too sweet lacking bite and identity. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
