(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Clear, warm, orangey brown with a small, rough, off-white head. Sweetish, lightly fruity aroma with a burned note. Medium body with sweetish, burned malt accents and some malt bitterness. 191207 harrisoni (19348) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2006
500ml bottle from Tesco. Very deep ruby with lasting tan head. A very lovely intense vinous fruit and chocolate aroma. Bit of cream too. Starts very carbonated, but then calms down into a smooth fruity choccy porter. Fruits are blackberry based and then this tremendous hit of chocolate. Choc lasts into the finish with a bit of tingly hop on the tongue. Impressive and very tasty with well defined and intense flavours. A beer for a winter night.
