TBone (18408) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 17, 2008
(Bottled, BB 03/2010).
Very dark brown color, small off-white head. Bready, mämmi-like perfumic nose. Sour milky lactose, coffee, roasted malts then sugary finish with low bitterness. Chocolate notes are nice, but it is all. Combination of sweet porter and strong ale was not so successful.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2008 500ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki, Skotoberfest 2007)

Very dark red, almost black. Lively head, but it fades quickly. Sweet chocolately malt aroma, slightly smoky too. Very carbonated, perhaps too much so. Slightly sour malty taste, pleasantly hopped, not excessively so. Quite full-bodied and well-rounded.

ÅBF08. Weak malty aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Malty flavour, quite mild.

Scopey (15879) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2011
Bottle from Tesco Danestone, Aberdeen. It pours dark ruby-brown, with a thin foamy beige head and low carbonation. The nose is bitter chocolate, sweet dark fruit, apple and coffee beans. The taste is bitter chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, currant, apple, toffee and burnt malt, with some dryness in the finish. Nice balance of flavours. A very tasty brew indeed.

imdownthepub (15396) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2008
Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised. Dark brown with only slight head, flat. Sweet but tart old ale, lots of burnt and fruity notes, toffee, plum, apple and chocolate malt with a bready, yeasty background. The alcohol is masked in the sweetness. It’s ok without being memorable.

Stuu666 (15056) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 7, 2015
Bottle from Tesco Corstorphine. Pours deep brown, nose is chocolate and dark fruits, taste is similar.

Christian (13867) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2008
Dark amber beer with a small off-white head. Weak caramel dominated aroma. Sweet and fruity flavour.

bierkoning (13747) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2009
Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt, raisin, caramel and milk chocolate in the aroma. Sweet raisinny caramelly flavor. Pear. Sticky mouthfeel. Not unpleasant.

Rune (13647) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2008
500ml bottle bought at Cornelius Beer and Wine in Edinburgh. Pours a deep, russet coloured topped by a light brown, frothy head. Both smell and taste have got a malty character, slightly roasted and moderately sweet. Medium bodied and soft carbonated [24.10.2008]

madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2007
Bottled. Dark burgundy coloured. Unclear. Light brown head. Light roast, some sweetness, fruits and caramel. Flavour is quite the same. Caramel, roast and sweetness. Some fruity notes. Is medium bodied. Light bitter and fruity in the end. A bit boring.
