Bottle from Tesco. Sour malty aroma. dark brown colour with bubbly beige head. Grassy treacle caramel malt flavour, quite smooth. Tastes better than it smells. Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - SEP 23, 2010
50cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a medium-sized beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of dark chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, caramel, some sweetness, dark chocolate and fruits. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - NOV 27, 2006
Pretty non existant aroma. Slight stodgy, earthy smell. Dark almost black in colour, has a deep red menacing glow. Off white head. Slight burnt charcoal taste. Watery texture. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2007
50 cl bottle. Dark clear colour with a nice head. Malty aroma with notes of burned caramel. Smooth flavour of malt, caramel and some fruitness. Not much for an old ale. jvhemert (401) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 23, 2010
AROMA: hay, citrus, leather,
APPEARANCE: brown, clear, poors with a frothy head, which dissappears in seconds
TASTE: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour
PALATE: full body, sticky, lively, long finish, bitter
Not a bad beer, but just not to my taste. Strange combination of chocolate sweetness with bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Opaque brown color, low tan head. Metallic aroma with some roasted malts. Chocolaty flavor with some sour notes. Low carbonation, medium-light body. Quite boring and watery. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 13, 2009
Dark red-brown, coca cola colored with medium sized light brown head. Perfumy licoricy aroma with syrupy note, some bitterness also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with more lemon, licorice and syrupy also here. Lemon in somehow skunky aftertaste. Not a good beer.
