Bottle at hotel in Peebles. Aroma of burnt malt and sour mash, but not too strong. Light in mouth, goes down smoothly. Quite refreshing for the style and nice depth of flavour for the ABV.

A malty and light bitter taste, coffee during the finish with a little bit of acidic. The body is medium strong, creamy and fizzy with a lively carbonation. Draft at Edinburgh airport Wetherspoons. Light bitterness but quite heavy body. This was surprisingly lacking in flavour but easy to knock back. Needs more depth. Idiosynkrasie (8216) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 25, 2016
