Cask at the white lady. Pours clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aromas of light metal, caramel. Taste is nutty, light sweet. Sweeter on the finish.

Cask at Cafe royale. Pours clear amber, nose is sweet malty toffee, taste is similar, dry, creamy.

mighty_meadow (308) - Kilwinning, SCOTLAND - AUG 11, 2014
On tap at the Auld Brig in Irvine ( JDW ) bit thin but tasty. Burnt toffee. Puff candy. Oily on palate. Not bad for a quick post work pint.

Scopey (15704) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2014
Cask at the halfway house, Edinburgh. It pours clear mahogany brown with a decent off-white head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, dirt, twig and dried fruit. The taste is toasty, brown bread, earth, light caramel and leather with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Could be done with a touch more body. Ok bitter.

AshtonMcCobb (6916) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 3, 2014
On cask at Au Bar. Appearance - dark brown with red chinks. Nice head. Nose - toffee and biscuit but you have to search. Taste - the toffee is there but astringent malt takes over. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry and slightly astringent finish. Overall - solid but hard going at times.

Oakes (18839) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2014
Amber and hazy. Crackery character, w a slightly sweet edge. Balanced with an off-dry finish. Decent big brewery bitter.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 28, 2014
on cask at halfway house in edinburgh. copper brown with a thin head; dusty aroma with a touch of stonefruit; light caramel with low bitterness; not much going on

Imaena (2359) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - NOV 8, 2013
Draught. This is a pretty boring bitter without much going for it. I would go for a different tap.

mr_h (5946) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JUN 30, 2012
Cask by handpump at Scottish Real Ale Festival, Edinburgh (29 Jun 12) - clear brown ale, thin white head, fruity and sweet malt aroma and flavour with a lingering malty aftertaste, low carbonation, nice

JohnRMurdoch (5050) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 29, 2012
Cask @ SRAF 2012. Medium brown colour, not much head. Mild fruity malt aroma & flavour. Quite a smooth bitter but a bit bland.
