Strong and sweet, malty with a little bitterness, toffee and fruit notes. Very tasty, but as strong beer goes, I prefer Innis and Gunn Oak Aged Beer.

Looks dark brown, a lot of carbonation. Sweet, toffee, brown sugar type smell. Taste is quite malty, molasses, toffee, sweet taste. Pretty solid beer but quite strong so worth pacing yourself.

Roasted, almost burnt malt in aroma. Minimal carbonation. Lively herbaceous and bitter stuff going on against the malt notes. Great example of the style.
