Bottle. Pours nearly Black with a tan head. Aroma of coffe, roast. Light licorice, light choko. Taste is rather sweet, rather bitter roast. Simple

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with ruby red glimmer and average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma with a minimally smoky touch, hints of dark chocolate, fruity hints of red berries, a touch of coffee and liquorice. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, slightly metallic, a touch of iron and blood, very subtle sweetness, a touch of cherries and red berries; diluted milk chcoclate in the finish.

Bottle Booths Penrith. Pours ruby black, with a tan head. A big dose of espresso early on, with a milk background chocolate. Rich and fruity, with a nice bitterness, more coffee in the finish, with plenty of roast notes.

Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 8, 2013
Cask at The white Lion, Covent Garden, London dec 2012. Dark brown beer with a medium, lacy beige head. Coffee, vanilla, licorice, raisins aroma. Bitter coffee, licorice, ashes and roasted malt flavour. Too much bitter coffee flavour for me.

PsychoGunnar (201) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 10, 2013
Sweetish aroma with hints of oak, liquorice and white meat. Beautiful foam, dark in colour. "Naughty" flavour - tastes of overboiled soup and soot. A bit too eager hopping and a slightly too endurant bitterness. Hints of whisky, which is a really good thing.

cgarvieuk (26077) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 28, 2012
cask at haymarket .. deep dark brown ... thin tan head ... soft sweett toffee and dark roast nose ... light mellow fruity roast body ... light roast ... decent
