I remember this having one of the best finishes of all beers ever. Where did you go, O Ghillie?
Har en god men speciel smag. Eftersmagen er lettere syrlig og bitter. Det syrlige er ikke så godt. ManVsBeer (10946) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2015
Bottle from Booths, Media City. Golden-amber with a thin head. Hopped with a light fruitiness with its malts in the backgrounds. Good nose. CanCrusher (1118) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - MAY 5, 2014
Bottle 0,50L. Clear copper/orange colour with big, long lasting, off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts and tropical fruits, grassy, spicy hops. Flavor starts light sweet, but soon become medium bitter with caramel and citruses on tongue. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Pleasant, typical bitter, that makes smile on my face. Bottle, 0.50l. Clear mahogany color with medium creamy white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of fruity and herbal hops, biscuit malt and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt and caramel, fresh fruity following, crisp mouthfeel and pleasant bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Very aromatic bitter... allmyvinyl (10995) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 4, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2013 Bottle at the White Lady, but something I have drunk many times before. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of butterscotch and biscuits. taste and mouthfeel is buttery too. A waste of good ingredients to my mind.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Medium brown with a reddish amber hue, decent head. Dry toffee malt aroma & flavour. Sharp bitter aftertaste. One of Broughton’s better efforts. BlackHaddock (7672) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2013
500ml Bottle: shared with a mate on 15 Feb 2013 during a random beer tasting evening.
Nice looking brew: bright copper body with a full if not deep biege head on top.
Malts rule the flavours both aromaticly and taste wise. This is almost a smooth, gentle beer: however the hop undertones prevent it becoming too sweet and malty. I’m sweet toothed and prefer maltier brews, this sat nicely within that ’pigeon-hole’. The hops play there part but if you’re a Hop head this isn’t for you unless you fancy something diferent for a change. madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2012

Clear deep amber beer, no real head. Crisp palate. Toffee malt with a good balance of grapefruit hops. The malt turns creamy before the finish which is fairly bitter. Not bad.
