Draft through the Randall: Poured a medium amber color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention. Aroma is totally dominated by huge floral notes with definitive resin notes. Taste is also a super nice mix between light caramel malt and toffee which are completely overshadowed by loads of floral and resinous notes which are quite exquisite. Body is about average with good carbonation and unsurprisingly totally dominated by hops. Very well done and a very nice discovery overall. rodenbach99 (4678) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 1, 2010

Bottle. Dark amber with minimal skiff. Boozy malt scent with orange zest. Strong malt with a nice airy hop note riding across. Hops last long after the alcohol finish. Very drinkable for ABV. ametras (1793) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 5, 2016
473ml can. Clear burgundy with a foamy beige head. Flavors are toffee, barley sugar, dried fruits and alcohol with earthy and woodsy notes. Full body, soft to moderate carbonation, syrupy texture. Diogène (1214) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2009 Draft via randall. Slightly cloudy golden with a thin creamy off-white head. Great retention and above average lacing. Aroma is a ton of hops, mostly citrus and pine with caramel malt that somehow manage to get through this thick wall of hops. Flavor is also amazingly hoppy with citrus, pineapples, mango, pine, toasted malt and alcohol. I haven’t tasted the straight version of this one, but on the randall, this is candy for lupomaniacs. Oily mouthfeel.
