This botte, alsop from out my was sampled at an esbls tasting in Wood River. Poured gold with a white head; Nose of some ripe stone fruit, and yeast. Mediuml in body. Flavor is of the stone fruit and raisins. There is an odd funi in the finish and some spices. Bottle, some chick on it saying tripel. Pours cloudy amber. Roasted smell to it , almost buttery ? Maybe a good movie popcorn beer??? I don't know.

500ml bottle from Binny’s Plainfield, #5458/6500. Pours a hazed, golden colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is florals fruits and orange peel with some hints of banana. A bit of a clove phenol with a light yeasty pepper, a light grass, a touch of candi sugar, and a somewhat grainy and bready pale malt backing. Flavor is similar. Floral fruits with some banana and pear as well as a light orange peel. Grainy, bready, lightly sweetened pale malts balance a light grass and pleasant yeasty pepper spice really well. A bit of a clove note, touches of candi sugar, and a light grass at the end as this finishes dry and spicy with just a touch of alcohol. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, lively, medium-high carbonation. Overall, I am generally not a tripel fan, but this one was done really well. Pour is a bright golden with a white head. Aroma is some fruityness with lots of candi sugar. Flavor is again with some fruit. Finish is grassy hops and kinda bitter. Just an ok triple. 14 dec 2012, bottle. Gold, steady bubbles, clear. Nose is sweet wort, but not too dark. Med body and faintly fizzy. Tastes of straw, rock candy, a bit bitter, faint caramel. Only ok.
