Bottle. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose and taste of alcohol soaked fruits, yeast, booze and apple skin. Medium body. A bit too boozy for my tastes. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a hint of orange and a big white head.
S: As usual for tripels, there is lots of sweet malt with plenty of fruit. Big time banana and pear with just a hint of sweet apples. There are lots of spice notes, too: clove, coriander, and mild pepper.
T: The flavor is very similar with an emphasis on sweet malt/bread and toffee. There is, however, noticeable booze which is the main problem with this beer. Nice spices of coriander and clove along with the same banana and pear fruit notes.
M: Medium to full in body with a medium carbonation.
O: Overall a pretty nice beer. The booze is really the only knock on it, but pretty solid. bhensonb (15968) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy orange/gold with a foamy/creamy near-white head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Near full bodied. There’s light banana ester and the typical Belgian yeast/spice. Lightly sweet with some off-setting bitterness. There’s no doubt this is a tripel. Goes towards medium dark pitted fruit in the finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2013

Bottled version from Whole Foods PM. Pours turbid orangy copper with 1-finger frothy white head. Nose is floral, with orange marmalade, mild spice, pale malt. Tastes tart, lactic, with pale malt, cobwebby esters, and an old aley finish.
