Our Tripel pours a hazy deep gold with a creamy head. Upfront aromas of fresh plums, orange, white flowers and a hint of hay evolve into aromas of caramel malt and cola as the glass warms. A very balanced flavor profile and a creamy mouthfeel lead into a light malt sweetness with a final transition into a hint of warming alcohol and soft drying bitterness.

500ml bottle from Binny’s Plainfield, #5458/6500. Pours a hazed, golden colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is florals fruits and orange peel with some hints of banana. A bit of a clove phenol with a light yeasty pepper, a light grass, a touch of candi sugar, and a somewhat grainy and bready pale malt backing. Flavor is similar. Floral fruits with some banana and pear as well as a light orange peel. Grainy, bready, lightly sweetened pale malts balance a light grass and pleasant yeasty pepper spice really well. A bit of a clove note, touches of candi sugar, and a light grass at the end as this finishes dry and spicy with just a touch of alcohol. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, lively, medium-high carbonation. Overall, I am generally not a tripel fan, but this one was done really well. Dry and spicy with a nice fruity essence while never getting too sweet or boozy. Really nice beer.

Rated on 7-02-2015. The appearance of this bottled beer is a medium sized off-white head that mostly diminished, transparent golden body, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma presents light floral hops, fruity, banana, spicy, sweet, light yeast, and caramel malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, banana, yeasty, candy, sweet, spicy, boozy, caramel malt, and a dry finish. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation, sticky and this beer is medium-full bodied. This is a good sipping beer with an excellent taste to it. The various flavors come together very well making this an enjoyable beer to drink and rate. It is worth trying and it is a beer that I would like to buy again.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a strong bubbly carbonation body hazy orange brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering candy aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of mild hops candy and malt. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Aromas of citrus, elderflower and hops. Slightly bitter finish. not a bad beer.

Hope this is a bad bottle because onion peel and burnt matches are not common to this style.

Pours a nice golden color with a small white soapy head. Aroma of caramel and toasted malts. Flavor matches with the addition of a nutty flavor and a bit of spice.

Bottle. Cloudy golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of straw and light cardboard, candy. Taste is candy, straw. Sweet stuff.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 50cl: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is mildly spicy, somewhat yeasty, and fruity. Taste is much in the same category. There is not so much a traditional tripel taste as it that of a Belgian blonde. Not to say that this is a bad thing. Mild hoppiness. Not particularly interesting.

I bought this because it was on sale at $3.99 for a 550ml bottle. The pour was nothing amazing. gold color with a small short lasting head. Aroma was faint. Had to stick my nose in the glass to get anything at all which was mild candied fruit and a bit of floral scent. The taste and mouth feel are NOT creamy but rather dry especially in the finish at both 45 degrees and a bit over 60 tho it did get less dry as it warmed. Overall a second rate Tripel at best.

Golden orange pour with average white head. Aromas of sweet wheaty malts, very mild citrus, and spice. Flavor carries from the aroma, oranges, butterscotch, and light brown sugar.
