Got as a gift from RaulMondesi. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours fairly hazy dark ruby red/purple color with a 1 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of juicy blackberries, peach, plum, apricot, cherry, pear, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/seeds, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big juicy blackberries, peach, plum, apricot, cherry, pear, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/seeds, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of blackberries, peach, plum, apricot, cherry, pear, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/seeds, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance; and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from yeast spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a delicious fruited saison. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, blackberries, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modestly spicy/drying finish. Definitely a ton of blackberries in this brew, but it still feels like a legit Saison. Plenty of fruity/spicy yeast character, perfectly balanced with fruit and bready malts. A very enjoyable offering, and unique style example. rick_91709 (535) - USA - JAN 3, 2018

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2017 500mL capped bottle. Bought it in discount at State Line, so not fresh. So, it's on me for being unprepared for the gusher once I popped the cap. Head fades rather quickly. That purple pink hue in a brown beer from the berries. It's one of those berry and malt sweet beer. I've had actual Belgian versions that were similar. There is a lot going on, tart sourness from berries as well. Each sip makes me oscillate between hate to like. At times the overly sweet character bothers me. But at other times I like the strong tart berries that are accentuated by strong Belgian malt base. So, depending on the sip it's between shit and ok. llkc (2881) - århus, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2017

Clear deep rosey purpleish amber under a large rocky light pink head. Big bright woody blackberry juicy aroma with a thick funky saison ester background. Brisk bone dry flavor that’s bright with blackberry and light white oak, and drying funky saison esters to round out a very quick flavor profile. Lovely carbonation with dry dusty saison tones with light fruity kisses and a hella-dry finish.

Draft at Old Devil Moon. Reddish purple cloudy color with a lasting pink head. Nice blackberry aroma, some Belgian notes. Medium sweet flavor, nice fruit notes, some Belgian yeast. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Good for a fruit beer.
