Spicy floral and golden fruit nose with a touch of honey mead. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter, pear and apple, lots of honey and champaign. thegreenrooster (4396) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is yeasty, vanilla and corriander. Flavor is fruity to start out then comes some herbal tea and a decent hop backbone. Finish has some honey and spice. I quite liked this one. Had all the fruity, yeasty things you look for in a Belgian but with low alcohol. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange gold with a 3 finger collapsing whiteish head. There’s a strong citrus, light stone fruit aroma. Backed by some earthiness and yeast/spice. Full bodie - cause of the carb. Flavor is spice/yeast, banana, light stone fruit, touch of barnyard. This is delicious. Obviously very, very underrated. There is a tendency towards cod liver oil towards the finish, but a sophisicated palate welcomes the new. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 17, 2011
