Licht donker parelend schuim.

Beer enhanced with Belgian chocolate, bottle conditioned. Refreshing taste with a slightly prickling bitter cocoa flavour and a sweet finish. Full in flavour. Light dark pearling foam.

Bouteille 33cl, gusher. No BB date.

Weinig nasmaak.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah @ Broken Benzai tasting. Hazy red color, small off-white head. Aroma clearly has chocolate and malts with a touch of red fruits. Tastes about the same: some malts, chocolate and red berries. Medium body, a bit dry finish, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ Broken Benzai tasting. Slightly hazy light brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells chocolate, sweet, roasty, decent. Tastes sour, red fruits, chocolate, nesquik. Medium body, slightly fizzy carbo. Funny taste.. The sourness and chocolate is a nice combination. A bit less sour would be nice though.

OH wow, am I the first to rate this from the US? 330mL bottle brought back from some expats living here. Ive had 2 now, and struggle with the notes I made because both times it was just delightfully WEIRD. A truly ugly beer, with lots of sediment and a mostly not there head. The chocolate is that of baking, reminding me of its use as a spice in Mexican mole sauces, lightly sweet, lots of roasted flavors. A lot of carbonation, I preferred it greatly after it sat for awhile.
