Cask at GBBF, August 2005. Pale gold colour. Big grassy hop aroma with resinous edges. Masses of zesty, citric hops on the palate. Insistent, but not aggressive, bitterness. Crisp, slightly sharp finish. The mouthfeel was perhaps not as sprightly as it might of been so, as maeib suggests, maybe could have been fresher. Otherwise, nice stuff.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy yellow beer with no head. The aroma is hoppy and grassy, while the flavor is sweet malty with a crisp dry hoppy bitter end. I really like the bitternes in this. After having this while working the GBBF, I really pushed to people - a lovely blond leaning more towards an IPA but lacking a little in alcohol. jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2005
Cask. Golden color. The taste is a light smooth body with some hoppy notes. Finishes with a dry bitterness. SilkTork (5725) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2005
GBBF, 2005: An American Pale Ale, but lighter and drier in tone. Like a fresher, drier, lighter version of Sierra Nevada. Dollops of life and fingernails of citric zest. Good stuff. Extra (14) - ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2005
Cask. Fresh and lively with plenty of dry citric hops. Very nice. ***

Cask (GBBF): Gold in colour. Fruity, mildly hoppy flavour. Not a bad golden ale. DanielBrown (4499) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2005
On tap at GBBF 05. Yellow, no head. Sticky, golden aroma. Smooth, building resiny flavour - hoppy tang. Gentle, yet insistent. Good stuff and one of the better UK beers of the fest. harrisoni (18402) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2005
Cask at GBBF 2005. Some buttery, hay and hop aromas. Blond citrus hoppy beer, with good hop finish, but really it could have been any of the half dozen of this style of beer we had on this day maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2005
Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. A bright gold coloured beer with good a strong hoppy aroma. The taste also has good hop qualities citric fruits dominate. A really tasty beer possibly my favourite English cask ale of the fest. Not 100% fresh so would like to see this one again.
