Bottle and keg at l mulligan grocer.
Bottle: pours hazy peach with spumey light head. Malt notes and potential yeast esters on nose give way to tart NS-like gooseberry on the nose as it warms. Fairly high carbonation, plenty of hop fruits, soft palate, quite warming, semms saison like though apparently US05.
Keg: much cleaner tangerine andelon on nose. Hazy burnished gold, tight white head. Fresh citrus character with a pithy kick toward the finish.

Thanks to ACD. Appearance: Vibrant cloudy yellow, thick snow white head. Aroma: Deliciously fruity/citrus, fresh juice, yeasty, spicy, almost a blue cheese note in there too, with some sourness. Flavour: lots of hops, bitter, banana, sour, a little pepper, lots of fresh juice, such a tasty brew, bitter lemon finish. Lovely.

33cl bottle. Hazy blond with huge white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma gives loads of orange peel, hay, spruce, Belgian saison-like yeastiness, lemon zest, grapefruit juice. Taste is pure Tropicana Ruby Breakfast juice - lovely bitter grapefruit and deep juicy orange. Lots of nice wheaty stuff happening, some breadiness, spices, pithy lemon, loads of bitter zesty grapefruit. Full mouthfeel. Seriously dry finish, lingering saison yeastiness along with grapefruit and lemon zest. Another great brew from BPBP. /// UPDATE: just learned that this is in fact brewed with an American Ale Yeast and that the saison-like flavours are all down to the fermentation method...fascinating and delicious stuff.

This one is a bit of a curveball, labeled as a Saison, same abv, but this is brewed at t Hofbrouwerijke, not sure if this is a new entry for BPBP or not. Pours an effervescent gold, large white head typical for a Saison. Banana and clove aroma, some bubblegum. Orange and citrus zest in the favor with some yeasty earthiness. Nice slightly sour finish.

330ml bottle from Drinkstore. Cloudy, hazy blonde, huge rocky white head, lasts ages. Big wheat nose, some estery banana, leather and clove spice. Flavour is intense, big blast of tangy saison yeast, very spicy indeed too, lots of dry lemon zest and pithy notes. Light bodied, but only needs to be due to the big flavour. Fizzy, with a hit of alcohol warmness which is surprising for the ABV. Finish is a bit more mellow, banana sweetness with a little background grapefruit bitterness. They dont mess around these lads.

A - pours hazy apricot with hugely high off white head. S - citrusy hops and yeasts up front. Floral notes, soap, apple fruity esters and sweet malty end. M - medium full body. Dry and spicy with fluffy carb. Thicker end. T - spicy bitter wheat beer. Citrus an bitter grassy hops float around floral spicy yeasty notes. A quiet caramel malty backbone. O - a really nice wheat beer. Full bodied and complex. A spicy Belgian saison. 3.5

Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [101213]
Hazy light orange, huge frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft belgian-like yeast, light spicy notes, soft wheat, touch of orange, slight hint of clove
Taste - Yeasty, big spicy peppery, saison-like flavours, soft clove, yeast esters, some bitter orange, floral notes, sweet fruity malts, bitter lemon zest, overall pretty strong flavours, complex
Palate - Medium carb in glass but very fizzy from bottle, medium body, bit oily and quite sticky, tangy bitter sweet palate, bit over acidic though. Finish as main flavour, rather dry, very sweet fruity malts background with bitter citrus lemon zest hop, tangy spicy yeast in the linger - I did find the palate a little over aggressive.
Overall - Big kick of flavour in this, thats for sure! - enjoyable stuff - did have a flavour profile of a beer considerably stronger

Cloudy yellow, fizzy pour with a thick white head. Lots of citrus, spice, yeast, banana, wheat. Bitter and tangy with a good amount of hops, pepper, slightly dry finishing with a smack of lemon/citrus. Nice.

Bottle from Culchiem - many thanks, Mel! The beer pours out in a cloudy, unclear, dirty amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of wheat and hops. Taste of wheat, hops, acid, berries, citrus and grass. Light sour finish. Refreshing, interesting beer. Little bit on the thin side but drinkable and nice nevertheless.
