Roasted malt aroma and flavor. Slight sweet finish. Full flavored. Mostly roasted malt, maybe a hint of lactose sugar like a milk stout. Really not a bad stout at all. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Bebum (1121) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Opaque, little lace.
Medium body, average flavor intensity, thin texture, short length, watery finish.
Sour, bitter, dry.

12oz bottle from my sister for my birthday. Pours black in color with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee, milk chocolate, and vanilla. Taste roasted malt, cardboard, milk chocolate, charred sourdough bread, and vanilla. Mouthfeel is a little thin. GIJOE (1258) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Bottle at Recovery Sports Bar, Verona, NY.
Pours dark - nearly black, pretty much opaque. Sparse lacing. Probably would foam up a little better if it weren't served too cold, just like they do at damn near every brew joint in the USA. Christ, people! Stouts should be closer to 50 degrees!
Nose is faintly malty, hinting at what might come out of it if they didn't freeze the beer as if it were Budweiser and you need frozen taste buds to be able to stomach it. Taste is reasonably balanced, but there's a peculiar metallic note in the aftertaste.
Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Decent brew.

Rich aroma with definite roasty chocolate tones. Beautiful crisp black pour with not much head (I did pour it a bit too cold). The Willamette sneaks through ever so slightly. A solid brew. merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 20, 2013
A: Deep Brownish Hue, Mild Off White Head Ring, Some Lacing
S: Coffee, Mild Chocolate, Mild Licorice, Mild Dark Roasted Matls
T: Chocolate, Coffee, Mild Oatmeal, Mild Dark Roasted Malts
M: Average Carbonation, Medium to Full Bodied, Mildly Bitter, Mildly Dry
Overall, a really good stout...just lacks in the oatmeal portion. They may put oatmeal in it...but it is hard to tell as it gets overpowered by the chocolate malts. mcclainc50 (217) - New York, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Pours a black brown color with a tan head that disipates quickly leaving almost no lacing. Flavors a burnt coffee, tobacco, a little licorice and roasted barley with just a hint of the oatmeal. Not a bad beer, but somewhat weak mouth feel for a stout very watery which lets the flavor wash right by. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Dark brown, almost black. Medium khaki head. Notes of burnt barley, chocolate and caramel. Taste of malts and chocolte milk. A touch watery, but smooth. Ok stout. GL2814 (361) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2013
This is a solid oatmeal stout with the flavor of an oatmeal cookie with hints of chocolate. Really solid.
