This is a solid oatmeal stout with the flavor of an oatmeal cookie with hints of chocolate. Really solid.

trapped (3614) - New York, TURKEY - SEP 20, 2017
Can. Pours murky brown with large foamy tan head, rich mocha aroma with alcohol undertones, medium carbonation, bitter mocha-dark chocolate taste, thin body, long bitter mocha finish. A bit thin, could be more robust.

mabuzzer (909) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - JUN 26, 2017
330ml can. Dark brown with very little head. Aroma is fruit, coffee. Taste is similar. Thin body. Ok

2.2
shawnmurphy (610) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAY 17, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours nearly opaque brown with ruby highlights and a thick creamy tan ead. Aroma: prunes, vinegar, chocolate. Flavor: all of the above with some porridge. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied, somewhat creamy from oats. There’s an unpleasant lingering sourness that mixes with a pleasant lingering sweetness, with a dry bit at the end.

DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2017
Draft. Hazy blackish pour with tan head. Nose was roasty dark malt, oats, cacao, hops. Smooth flavor, dark malt, dark choc, hops, complex and well balanced finish.

Nice job by Andy picking a few of these up on way to ADK. Rich and full body not super sweet so I like it. Had after a 2.5 mile hike around miss lake on a hot day.

4.2
OnTheTrail (583) - Virginia, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Pours very dark, finger thick head. Aroma of cocoa, chocolate milk, intense roast barley. Smooth, sweet, chocolatey, a touch of oats.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2015
12 ounce bottle, 3/31/15. Clear dark brown, large fizzy brown head, decent retention. Aroma of chocolate, oats, molasses, caramel. The taste is nuts, caramel, chocolate, tart fruits, sunflower seeds. Thin-medium bodied.

3.2
shigadeyo (3790) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Muddled coffee and chocolate in the aroma with a hint of char. Brown color, average body. Caramelized malt, bread crust, chocolate oatmeal, slight bit of cola. Pretty good.

3.2
j12601 (13123) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 9, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark and murky brown with a thin white to tan head. Faint sweet roast on the nose. On the thin side of medium bodied, burnt plastic and roast. None of the depth of flavor and body that the double oatmeal had last night. Sweet dark stone fruit and roast into the finish, light bitter bakers cocoa into the finish.
