Bottle from the Architect, Cambridge. Light yellow, fairly fizzy with very little head. Malty/yeasty aroma with some hay. Taste has that wet cereal and gluey note to it which tsstes a bit better than it sounds. Doughy bittersweet finish with dried grass and some citrus in the aftertaste. No sock knocking off going on here but it’s a decent standard lager. Suitable for when you want something refreshing and different and don’t mind paying a bit more...

As lagers go, clean and grassy rather than bitter and gassy. Nice butter and hay on nose. V watery body, a bit like Tom creanns dingle lager. Easy drinking but then so is the stuff out the kitchen tap, eh?

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Original, Irish Craft Beer #1, shared with 77ships. Orange, col blanc.
