Bottle. Barley wheat and grassy hops aroma. Golden yellow color with big white head. Creamy barley malt flavor with moderate dry grassy hops finish. Light metallic finish. Nice smooth tasting pis. JorisPPattyn (9929) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2008
Medium to good just off-white head, fed by well-carbonated classic golden beer. Very malty nose, bit of caramel and distinctive, if rather unsettling aroma of coffee-with-milk. Warm grains, and grassy at the end. Very grassy in taste, however, CO²-sourish lining, malts generally dominating but hops are clearly only just sub-treshold. Quite fizzy, seems a bit overcarbonated with somewhat aggressive MF. Light to medium body. Better than the sum of its parts. Big thanks to Marcusfromthebeerdesert! MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2007
(33cl bottle, from Saarlander) Clear, pale golden colour with foamy white medium head, quite persistent and lacing. Shy aroma of herbal hops with a blend of pale malt. Mild bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; medium carbonation. Moderately malty and herbal hoppy taste; dry and bitter, slightly soapy finish. Rather average. tderoeck (9491) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 21, 2012

Clear blond beer, big creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive leaving a nice lacing. Aroma: stable (it’s becoming a bit boring, here in Germany), sweet light malts, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, surprisingly. Taste: very malty, bit sweet, grains, little herbal, bitter hops, bit of citrus. Aftertaste: grains, little metallic, dry clean bitter ending.
Starts mild and slightly grainy. Mainpart is malty, slightly grainy, crisp and medium hoppy. The aftertaste is a bit sweeter, bitter and a bit grainy. --> normal Pils, nothing special but ok!

Draught @ Bruch’s No.1, Saarbrücken. Aroma has butter and some honeyish malt. Also hints of grass. Flavour has butter, grassy hops and some malt. Also hints of minerals. Finishes with mild menthol tones. Easy to drink. BlackHaddock (7235) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2015
33cl bottle at home on 19th Nov 2015. Poured twice into one of my old ’Schossbrau’ stemmed glasses. Very pale yellow/gold with a thin white head on each pour. Floral hop nose and taste with a fairly bitter and dry flavour. Crisp and clean if not very flavoursome: refreshing and decent. kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - OCT 23, 2016
Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts quite malty, dry, wheaty. Grainy. Floury notes. Finish a bit boring dry. Okay. jaghana (6019) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - FEB 12, 2011
Bottle 33cl @Saarbrucken. A clear yellow beer with medium head. A quite dry pilsner, properly malted, fruit hints, nuts, medium hopy mostly spicy. Long bitterness aftertaste, no too bad. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2008
Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Alldrink Getränke just down the hill from Morlautern. Pours a golden yellow color. Aromas of grass, cheerios, and some hops. Flavor is typical pilsner, not a lot of hops, a nice smooth taste. Nice and dry in the finish.
