Erzengel (8763) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2015
*Old rating, best before 21.09.04. Malzig-mildes Dunkel. Nicht zu herb, süßlich-mild, leicht trockene röstige Noten. Lecker.

jonas (7583) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 30, 2012
Bottle. Cloudy orange-brown, offwhite head. Roast and herb aroma (junipers). Burned sugar/caramel, chocolate notes, good light citric grassy hop balance. Chewy medium body. Chocolate aftertaste, hops retronasal. Somewhere between a Fullbodied dunkel and a Alt, quite nice.

kevnic2008 (12000) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2012
Pours amber brown with a minimal head. Aroma: nutty, malty, caramel, and bread. Tastes fairly sweet with low bitterness and a little sour bite.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass copper colured, nice head. Malty-dry aroma. Starts intense malty, not too roasty, modest dry. Some metallically notes. Also some hints of caramel. Finish again dominated by the metallically notes, so not so drinkable. Hmm, exspected a bit more.

jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUN 2, 2012
Bottle 50cl, an amber brown beer with medium head. Nose is on caramel and brown bread. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty, cereal like, caramel and biscuit, nice bread like finish.

pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle(thanx to Štěpan!):ambercoloured, a bit unclear, stable mid-sized foamy layer with a little lace, not reslly sweet malty-caramelly nose with a tinge of coffee; moderate (almost a bit dryish) sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; shorter malty finish, some mild bitterness detectable. A pleasant, inoffensive Dunkel…

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 6, 2012
(bottle) slightly hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, toast-malty and mildly nutty aroma with notes of caramel and shy hoppy spice. Mild sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malty base with caramel and slightly nutty notes and shy traces of chocolate in the background, which are also detectable in the bitter-sweet and moderately toast-malty finish. Drinkable Dunkel. 04.V.12

3.4
Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 25, 2012
bottle from Edeka Neuendettelsau. Clear light-brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Malty base, slightly grainy, with caramel and lovely resiny hops - bitter sweet character. Good!
