Dark copper beer with an off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin pie, and caramel sweetness. Tastes of muted pumpkin pie flavors, yams, prunes, caramel, and some earthy notes in the finish. A bit too cloyingly sweet for me. Unoffensive pumpkin flavors, but the high amounts of sugary sweetness made this one a bit tough to finish. Boutip (6380) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a medium size dark beige color head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of pumpkin and light spices is less powerful then expected. Taste is a mix between light pumpkin notes with light dry spices with light residual sugar finish. Body is a bit thin with medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not the most interesting experiment with a lot of components falling into middle of the road category without enough complexity; malt backbone is also a bit too thin. robforbes (2245) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2012
pours a clear burgundy with a large tan head and some lacing.
smell is faint, pumpkin, and some spice.
taste is thin, pumpkin, coriander, and nutmeg. ends slightly dry. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Pours a reddish brown mahogany color. Aroma of spiced herb, a slight odor of yams and pumpkins. Taste is a slight lemon zest mixed with a spice vegetable mix in the initial swallow. The taste disappears quickly then is refreshing after you’re done. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 9, 2011
(on draught at the Bruery Provisions store). Pours a clear mahogany color with creamy off-white head. Aroma has fenugreek, pumpkin and other spices I can identify. Tate is sweet with some light spicy bitterness. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Meh. Not my favorite. Probably because I hate fenugreek.

Bottle. what the fuck. haven’t we learned from dfh that this shit does not work? This stuff is a little toned down from the usual dogfish bs but that doesn’t make it better. Dark amber color with a white sudsy off-white head. Nose is lemon, cinnamon, other spices. Flavor is a bit messy, hard to really pick out the flavors, just kinda blah. What a waste of a collab. Brew something drinkable. BeerandBlues2 (13323) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Tap at Naja’s. Pours hazy brown with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is birch, spiced, toast and caramel malt, earth notes and dates. Flavor is malt forward, spices, fruity esters, cumin, lemon and a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - AUG 14, 2014
Amber/red in color with a good creamy tan head that hangs around. Nose has the smell of fresh cut weeds with a touch of maple syrup. Flavor has the maple syrup and birch bark come in early with a bitter weedy taste at the finish. Body is light with a low amount of carbonation. All the spice in the beer makes it feel a bit on the thin side. Overall just a "meh" beer in my opinion. Interesting to see what the beer would taste like using these ingredients but a brew I could of missed and thought nothing of it. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2011
12oz bottle poured into snifter. I’m not sure what half the ingredients are in this beer but it doesn’t seem to work. I’m a big pumpkin fan but not even the faintest bit of pumpkin comes through. It’s more of a sweet/dry malt mess. Not impressed. shadbow (84) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Just average. A bit of hops to it, a little spice. Nice color and head but just average overall...
