From notes. Enjoyed on September 19 at Travis’ house. 750 mL bottle shared by me. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite, combined styles: the sour stout. The pour on this one is a dark black with a thin ring of darker head. The aroma is just great. There is a nice roast that starts it out, but it moves into being taken over by the blueberry. There
amazing. Light tartness. Great blueberry offers a nice light fruitiness and the skins offer a wonderful tart sharpness to it. There is a goos addition of dark fruits and light roast, maybe even a little chocolate and vanilla contrast, but the bluevberries are definitely the show stealer. The flavors are just as great. The blueberry is bright and vibrant with a great tart sharpness. The stout rings through with the roast chocolateyness, a light vanilla, and just a little touch of bourbon. The mouth feel is great. Thick and viscous with just enough soft carbonation to help it remain thick, but not overly lingering to let the sour aspect keep it quick and tart. The aftertaste is lingeringly blueberry skins and chocolate bourbon heat. I love this. Korcz (3388) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 23, 2017
Cudowny balans, genialnie ułożony alkohol. Piękne połączenie Flandersa (czerwone owoce, drewno) i czekoladowo-waniliowego RISa. Mega ciało! djd07 (16533) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 8, 2015
Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is toffee, wood, blueberry. Medium mouth with nice sweetness, blueberry, toffee, really enjoyed this 48FanInCali (857) - California, USA - MAR 12, 2016
2015 bottle - BT type pour with a head that doesn’t last. Fruity BT nose with sweet malt, vanilla, barrel. Taste follows the nose. Slightly tart but how I would imagine a blueberry variant of BCS would taste. I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. superspak (6496) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUN 3, 2016
750 ml bottle into snifter, bottled on 1/18/2016. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1 finger foamy tan head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tart blueberry, cherry, red wine, plum, raisin, chocolate, cocoa, fudge, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, light vinegar/funk, and yeast/roast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt, bourbon barrel, blueberries, a light fruity/funky yeast notes; with great strength. A bit of alcohol booze appears as it warms. Taste of huge tart blueberry, cherry, red wine, plum, raisin, chocolate, cocoa, fudge, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, light vinegar/funk, and yeast/roast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/acidic tartness, tannic oak spiciness, and light roasted bitterness; with lingering notes of blueberry, dark fruit, red wine, chocolate, cocoa, fudge, caramel, molasses, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, toasted oak, and yeast/roast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt, bourbon barrel, blueberries, a light fruity/funky yeast flavors; with a great malt/tannic/tartness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly drying from acidic/tannic notes as well. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a smooth, creamy/slick, and lightly silky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with moderate warming and minimal booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an incredible barrel aged/fruited sour imperial stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt, bourbon barrel, blueberries, a light fruity/funky yeast flavors; and dangerously smooth to sip on for the enormous ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle shared by a friend. Darkest brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of sour berries, sweet dark malts and chocolate. Flavor starts with chocolate malt, moving to tart berry before a sweet and tart finish. Chalumeaux (1947) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops. Pours thick black with a tinge of purple with a lacey head. Aromas of candy blueberry and chocolate. Taste is chocolate then moves to tart berry and finishes with a nice boozy punch. rami_pl (5192) - Warszawa, POLAND - APR 23, 2017

750ml bottle, from Dutch's. Split with Steph S. Bottle says 16.3%. Has a dark purple color. Little ring of tan head, some loose bits of lace. Really nice aroma - a lot like a dark chocolate covered blueberry, soaked in bourbon barrels. Nice dark bitter dark chocolate, some mild roast malt, hint of coffee. Not as sweet as I fear these big beers to be, in fact has a nice mild dryness to it. Moderate bitter, lighter sour, lighter sweet, with a nice bit of alcohol warmth on the back end but no burn nor bite. Easy to sip with the balance of taste, and the warmth on the back end helps to propel the aftertaste. Damn, for how strong this is, it's easy-sipping. Medium to bigger body, with a nice thicker chewiness that you'd expect from an American imperial stout. Light carbonation. Very enjoyable, very impressive & unique beer. I've never had a fruit beer this strong that was this good (or even just not sickeningly-sweet... this does a great job at avoiding that). We went through this bottle much quicker than expected. Later in the flavor I get some oatmeal cookie - type flavor to it. This beer is making me very happy. I'd definitely like to experience this again. Even for the price.. Definitely a very unique beer. Safe to say I've never had anything exactly like this, and it's even more impressive to try something unique when it manages to be awesome. hopdog (13452) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2014
750ml bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Blueberries, tart, some bourbon, wood, vanilla, dark fruitiness, and chocolate. Some alcohol in the finish, but overall well hidden.
