COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Confession is a true collaborative effort between the wine and beer world. A variation of our sour blonde ale, brewed in part by the Parker team, Confession was blended and fermented with juice pressed from Parker’s Riesling grapes. The result is remarkable. Not quite beer, not quite wine. Fragrant fruit flavors warm the nose, infiltrated by a slight funk from the wild yeast. The first sip is reminiscent of a dry, white wine, but everything changes upon further examination as the flavors marinate and reveal themselves with each gulp.

Hazy gold pour with a nice sticky white head. Flavors of white wine, wild grapes, vanilla, toasted oak. This is the beer to bridge white wine lovers with. I loved it, but I do enjoy white wine. This will turn some away who do not enjoy wine.

Damn those 80’s glasses make you look foxy! .. . Pours a glimmering yellow .. Mild foam .. . Good dose of white wine, hay, and touches of yeast .. . Slick mouth .. . Pretty good beer .. . . It could be worse, she could look like Fess Parker.

From the bottle. Pale yellow pour with white wine aroma and a lot of wine in the taste. A little sour bite, pretty damn good overall.

750mL thanks to BMan1113VR. Pours a low haze, brighter straw with weak foam. Nose is quite excellent with rich Muscatel white grape...peaches, mangosteen, fresh fruit smoothie. Taste brings mild acetic heat which doesn’t come across as too salty or vinegary, bright greener fresh grape, creamy peach. Palate is a tad salty and acetic but the thicker peaches and cream character gives it some thickness and sweetness. Overall yummy.

750ml bottle thanks to Sean for sharing... Pours a golden hay mostly transparent hue and topped with a thin film of soapy white head... Buttery grapefruit and whit wine aroma. Not clean upfront but def cleans up... Perky semi-lively grapefruit and white wine accents throughout. Clean and completely drinkable. Doesn’t taste of the abv.

750 ml bottle sampled at a tasting. Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I have not been to confession since the last time I was forced to do so in high school. This bottle pours a hazy pale yellow-gold, like the blond locks of a sweet young altar boy. The head is white. This beer drinks like a sour wine, though not Communion wine. White wine. Dry, tart, and vinous. White grapes, lemon, and grass. I like this one a lot.

On draft at the ratebeer gallery event. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is comforting with wheat bread and lemon. Soft. The flavor is light bodied with a nice tart lemon character and just a touch of white vinegar. Very enjoyable and well done. Far less vinegar than I’ve got from other Bruery sours…
