COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Confession is a true collaborative effort between the wine and beer world. A variation of our sour blonde ale, brewed in part by the Parker team, Confession was blended and fermented with juice pressed from Parker’s Riesling grapes. The result is remarkable. Not quite beer, not quite wine. Fragrant fruit flavors warm the nose, infiltrated by a slight funk from the wild yeast. The first sip is reminiscent of a dry, white wine, but everything changes upon further examination as the flavors marinate and reveal themselves with each gulp.

Tap @Ratebeer event. Pours hazy yellow with a tiny head and not much for lacing. Aroma is yeast, lemon. Flavor is lightly sweet, citrusy, light tartness. Drying out on the finish. Nice mouthfeel. A nice beer, but I agree, a little lacking in complexity.

On tap at the RateBeer Gallery event in SF. Pours light gold with a minimal white head. Lemon-lime citric notes, sharp lactic acid, dry finish. Nice but kind of one-dimensional... Like if Sprite was a sour beer.

On tap at ratebeer gallery event. Pours clear golden with a thin white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a tart fruit flavor that sticks to the palate.

Draft at the Bruery reserve society initiation party 2013. Slightly hazy golden pour, slightly orangeish, with a frothy white head. White grape, lemon, tart sourness, citrusy, grass, and light crackery malt. Very tasty, clean, and refreshing. I love the flavors, I had two tasters of this. Probably my favorite of the day.

Tap at The Bruery Reserve Party. Yellow pour with white head. Tart lactic flavor, sour white grapes, green apple lemon zest and yeast. My favorite sour of the day.

Slightly hazed golden straw pour with a nice white head. Wonderful wine aroma and plenty of grapes. Really nice lactic tartness, lots of lemon, and hints of green apple. Mild oak and grass, maybe some lime zest, too. The flavor is slightly sweet up front with some grape notes, but quickly transitions to tart, lactic acidity and lemon zest. Mild lime, drying oak, green apple, and a hint of grassy funk.
