This is an excellent beer that I truly enjoyed. Has a great mix of tart, fruity, and sour across the aroma and the taste. Just really nice. Funky and tart, while at the same time extremely refreshing. Really like this a ton, great apricot sour with a ton of flavor and a low enough ABV to be pretty damn drinkable. Felt like the apricot was the perfect fruit in this beer, just excellent. As good as the Home, Sour Home was, I think this was my favorite beer of the evening. Dave - Hook me up if / when this comes out next year!
Sampled at Great American Beer Festival 9/24/15. Aroma of sour notes, light fruity esters, oak, light vanilla and apricots. A nice, stone fruity sour flavor with a mild puckering feel. Nicely done overall. Bule (2255) - California, USA - SEP 20, 2015
750ml bottle of 2015 release. Pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Good apricot fruitiness that balances nicely against the medium tartness. Some apricot stone bitterness at the end.
