COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filmishmish, an Arabic term for “when the apricots bloom”, is a barrel aged sour blonde ale to which apricots have been added. The beer’s already fruity esters are enhanced by the hint of fresh apricot jam and wood shavings. Filmishmish is a well balanced beer, keeping the apricot and oak character present, but putting the flavor of the well formed sour ale at the forefront.

Pour is a amber orange, vibrant and unfiltered looking. Light carbonation. Aroma is tart fruit, jammy and fresh cut wood. Taste is a huge sour bomb, drops right into you and punches your taste-buds. Apricots, woody, earthy, fresh flowers, big notes of honey. Long, dry, bitter and sour finish

Bottle shared at dbarnold’s, 10/31/15, Thanks Dave!
This is an excellent beer that I truly enjoyed. Has a great mix of tart, fruity, and sour across the aroma and the taste. Just really nice. Funky and tart, while at the same time extremely refreshing. Really like this a ton, great apricot sour with a ton of flavor and a low enough ABV to be pretty damn drinkable. Felt like the apricot was the perfect fruit in this beer, just excellent. As good as the Home, Sour Home was, I think this was my favorite beer of the evening. Dave - Hook me up if / when this comes out next year!

750ml bottle of 2015 release. Pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Good apricot fruitiness that balances nicely against the medium tartness. Some apricot stone bitterness at the end.
