Gold and light hazy appearance with a white head that fully dissipates. Pleasant aroma of tropical fruits and sour funkiness. Similar flavor, tart, puckering and refreshing with a light body. Nicely done. AirForceHops (7913) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 11, 2017
750 ml bottle, Near clear golden color with mild carbonation level. Aroma is mostly passion fruit with a light lactic acid note. The flavor is pretty much a one trick pony, all passion fruit with a harsher acid reflex after the swallow. Some harsh sour pucker, yikes! 75CL Purchased Locally. Thanks Heather. Split 3 ways. reddish orange appearance. hazy, fizzy sprite carbonation that fades quickly. The aroma is pretty much as I expected. passionfruit, mango, tropical aromas. oooh that's sour! painfully sour, lemon, lime, lots of mango and pineapple and sure, passion fruit. It's tasty but hard to get through more than a few sips. burg326 (5621) - Florida, USA - OCT 7, 2017
Poured a light cloudy golden yellow color with aromas of passion fruit, light tart wheat, and some graininess. Flavors are passion fruit and peach, for some odd reason I only get peaches... light tartness, some wheat and hay, but peaches not much passion fruit, this is odd... bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 28, 2017

On tap at Libertine brewpub, Morro Bay. Pours hazy golden with white head. Nice passion fruit in aroma and flavor, citrus, funk, quite sour. Light bodied. bytemesis (9345) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - AUG 28, 2017
Bottle, shared with wife. pours hazy golden, medium fizzy white head, dissipates quickly with minimal residual or lacing. Aroma is passionfruit indeed, undertone of sour mash, hints of oak aging. Flavor is medium tart, not much funk, but nice sour notes, lactic passionfruit. Medium light body, spritzy carbonation. Good one. stchloe (1112) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 13, 2017
Prominent aroma is hard to pin down, kind of funky sometimes like ketchup, very tart forward in the drink, mellows into a gentle fruit and hint of malts, good otherwise. bulldogops (2740) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 12, 2017
Rating #2683 - 2016.07.22 - Bottle from CBI. Pours a bubbly light yellow with a decent head - medium retention. Aroma is passionfruit, mild funk. Palate is tart, notes of passionfruit, lemonade. Medium carbonation. Extremely refreshing. superspak (6104) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - AUG 3, 2017
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/21/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin ring of bubbles pretty quickly. Minimal lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon, lime, pear, green apple, pineapple, berry, white grape, hay, straw, oak, pepper, wheat, and cracker; with light notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, oak, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon, lime, pear, green apple, pineapple, berry, white grape, hay, straw, oak, pepper, wheat, and cracker; with light notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light yeast/oak spiciness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon, lime, pear, green apple, pineapple, berry, white grape, hay, straw, oak, pepper, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness balance; slightly increasing pucker after the finish. Moderate dryness from tart/sourness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/acidic, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited Berliner weisse! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, passion fruit, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the balanced sour/lactic/drying finish. Not super heavy on Lacto like most Bruery sours tend to be. Very well balanced with fruit and malts, with pleasant levels of Brett complexity. A highly enjoyable offering.
