Draft. Floral peach, yeast, and malt aroma. Murky amber with minimal head. Light musty yeast, peach, and malt flavor. Light dry finish. Not bad - pretty light. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Sampled at GTMW 2013. I guess this was a secret beer? I had to know secret things to get it. Hazed golden color with an off white head. Aroma of lemon zest, oak, some funk. Flavor is nicely tart with a fair amount of lactic sourness. Hay and barnyard notes, as well as vinegar notes. Slick texture, soft carbonation. Overall, nice. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2013

tap at Ft Wayne OktoBeerfest - Pours yellow-orange with a minimal head. It has a sour, funky aroma. The body of this beer is virtually flat, which seems odd for a sour. The tastes is funky, tart, and fruity with the wild yeast funk lingering on the palate of this medium bodied brew. Interesting. Pretty good. Draft at GTMW 12. Secret beer. Far more impressive than its cousin Pooka. Pours a deep gold with a nice white head. Nose shows a nice winey acidity, light earthy funk. Good level of lacto in the nose as well, really reminding me of Temptation to some degree. On tasting, it is quite clean. Crisp and dry with a big acidity bite. Green apples and faint oak come through. Clean finish. Really good stuff. vyvvy (6523) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2012 - Pours dull hazy golden with no head to be seen. The aroma has oak, vanilla, light earthiness, nectar fruit and a nice amount of chardonnay barrel traits. Medium / full body that is very smooth, but has little if any carbonation. The flavor has lots of chardonnay barrel, smooth lightly toasted malt, grapes, sharpness, pepper and vanilla. The finish has more of the smooth, oaky and vanilla with some of the wild yeast showing through. Interesting beer. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Draft pour on tap at GTMW 2012 (Madison, WI). Pours a richer decent hazed pour. Amber golden hues shine, good glow, with touches of loose bubbly whitish head. Laces ok. Aromas are sour, firm acidity and lemon, wet oak, and gentle vanilla. Citrus, lemon, and grapefruit. Lactic yogurt, firm funky brett starts to take the reigns though. More fruit, some gentle white grape. Touch of white wine vinegar. Initial is really mellow, richer funk and brett, firm lactic and growing white wine barrel presence. Chardonnay, a bit oaky, melon, and honeycrisp apples. Richer flavors, tangerine and grapefruit, growing wild yeast becomes a touch more mellow, tart, and wild. Finish is lingering sourness, rich citrus and melon. Really well done, white wine elements really speak to me. Not acidic, but firmly wild and richly fruit. Really nice, Temptation like wild/sour. Well done. I must’ve had a completely different beer than Peter had, because this really was quite outstanding. phaleslu (10334) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Draft sample at MWBBF. Pours a hazy golden color with a tiny white head that quickly settles into a film before vanishing. The aroma is tart and sweet, with lemon, white grapes, vanilla, and nice fresh floral notes. The flavor doesn’t resemble that at all- an initial note of fresh tartness immediately runs into a long chemical note. Someone called it "nail polish remover", and that’s accurate. Harsh chemical palate. Light body, modest carbonation. This can’t be what they were shooting for; the aroma promises so much better. Way off.
