Draft to taster at Brugge. Looks good for the style; a cloudy vibrant orange with white lacing. Smells solid; Belgian yeast, pear, and spices. Tastes like it smells with a bit of banana and vanilla. Nice and smooth on the palate. A nice example of the style. Johnsense (1668) - - MAR 11, 2014

Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition, on tap. Very caramely with light touch of alcohol finishing it off. Indiana and tripels? A good adoption of the style. I had two. Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2008

Draft sample at Keg Fest. Poured hazy orange color with a minimal fizzy head that lasted with fair lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium fruity sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a good beer. MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - SEP 29, 2008
Goblet at J Gumbos Indy - Aroma of sweet yeast, floral spice and coriander. Pours cloudy gold with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is bread dough and quite spicy, on the verge of too spicy as it can be a little rough in the finish, almost astringent. Palate is sticky and tart. It’s tasty, but could use a little something to soften it up and make me want to drink more.
