Keg at Kaldi Bar - Reykjavik. Pours clear copper-gold with a creamy topping. The nose has simple lightly toasted cereal, pale bread. Light sweet flavour with more simple pale bread, grains, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat sweet to finish, simply malty. Easygoing. Bue à la pression. Couleur cuivre. Effervescence moyenne. Arômes de grain, de caramel, pas de sucre. Finale légèrement épicée (sel ?). CPH2200 (345) - DENMARK - FEB 22, 2015
33 cl bottle 5.4% abv with Icelandair label. Sweet malty nose. Sweet malty taste too. dry mouthfeel. Too sweet for a low abv beer imho but not bad as such. SaintMatty (7364) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2013
330ml Bottle - Copper with a small head. Fruity, malty and slightly spicy aroma with earthy hops and raisins detected. Fruity, malty, slightly spicy and moderately sweet taste with raisins, fruitcake and some faint hints of cloves. kacsagergo (27) - HUNGARY - DEC 6, 2013

Bottle. Clear red with a small head. Red apple malt, light esters, maraschino cherries and such with that generic Northern European Christmas spice character. Medium-light body, decent frothiness, but it’s your basic amber / red malt with allspice powder added. Thankfully not flawed like the other Kaldi beers, just boring. haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - NOV 14, 2013
Light brown, almost into red. Tiny head. Overly malty with a buttery finish. Very blend. kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - JAN 7, 2013
Bottle looks good but a bit complex. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest malty, not too dry. Fruity hints in the background. Finish still mild, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Okay! kevnic2008 (12002) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2012
Amber colour with medium white head. Aroma of hops and grain, medium body and flavor of caramel and light herbs, crispy and fresh beer. omhper (25125) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 29, 2011
Bottled at Íslenski barinn, Reykjavík. Clear amber, rich head. Slight lemony nose with plenty of butterscotch. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Tart butterscotch dominates. Low bitterness. Has the relaxed malt character that I really enjoyed in the first beers from Bruggsmidjan, but also signs of infection which is worrying.
