Praise for Snegurochka who provided this one for our rating session. Clear, dark amber body, tiny beige head. Roasted caramel malts to the nose, bready notes. Plain roasted sweet malts in flavour. Dry, sour-bitter end. About par (Tromsø, 22.06.2011).

Pours amber dark clear with about a inch of head. Aroma is light on the malty side. Flavor is on the sweet side, malty with some roasted notes. Little bitterness, slight hint of being sour. Palate is light and it’s slightly watery. Carbonation is soft between little and medium. Overall an average beer, it’s drinkable.

Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 23, 2010
Poured this beer from a bottle into a pint glass to drink. It had a dark, clear amber-brown color with a good-sized creamy tan head that had good retention and slight cling. The beer had a malty aroma with scents of caramel and coffee, and a bit of grainy hops. The taste was fairly sweet with a good coffee taste with touches of chocolate and caramel and a very slight bitterness. It had a fairly creamy, smooth body with light carbonation and a low amount of carbonation.

Bottle thanks to fonefan: Pours a transparent dark mahogany with a large clumpy-lacing froth of light tan head. Has a sweet dark caramel malty nose with some light smoky notes and dark fruity complexity. Body starts with some over-carbonation and lightly sweet dark caramel malts with a touch of oxidation and raisins before a drier bready finish with some lingering faint smoke. A pretty true to style and drinkable dunkel.
