kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Labeled as Loki Laufeyjarson, from Cafe Loki in Reykjavik. Clear amber red body with a small wispy fizzy beige head. The nose is sweet caramel malt with a bit of huskiness and wet grain. The flavor is on the sweeter side with some light caramel malt and a minimal graininess on the finish. Pretty devoid of hops for the most part. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a clingy finish. Not great, but drinkable. 3/6/7/3/12

solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 24, 2017
Mostly malt and some caramel. Not great like Leif Erikkson. Orange pour. Cloying aftertaste. Bottle.

dinkle50 (1465) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2016
Clear red pour with a single finger head. Aroma is coppery, just tons of pennies is all I smell. Taste is full of copper, caramel and some old world hops. Pretty generic. Some lace present. Not crazy about this one.

gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2016
Bottle from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. Amber with a thin off white head. Little in the way of aroma. Some light toast. The flavour has citrus and toast. Slightly soapy. OK.

Bottle 33 cl. Amber color, almost no foam. Aroma: specialty malts, caramel, a little alcohol and fruit, candied jam. Taste: maltiness, caramel, slightly dried apricots, some sweetness, plum wine.

330 ml bottle at Ola, thanks! Clear amber with small beige head. Aroma malty, bread, biscuit and earthy hops. Taste is similar, fairly sweet various malty notes with earthy and basementy hops. Ok.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and toffee, leading to a bitter finish.

From tap at Micro Bar, Rekjavik. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, fruity notes, hoppy notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bitter finish. A bit bland, malty sweet.

gunnar (9019) - Sandnes, NORWAY - APR 21, 2015
On tap at Kaldi Bar. Pours light hazed deep golden with a small creamy off-white head. Distinct caramel aroma with a slightly burnt note. Taste is weak sweet caramel with an easy spiced and herbal note. Good one.

mcberko (17339) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2015
On tap at Micro Bar, pours a cloudy dark orangey brownish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malts and a hint of caramel. Flavour brings out toasted malt and bready notes. Dry and balanced, but clean. Meh.
