Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Metallic, roasted malt, and a bit of toast on the nose. Some hints of chocolate, light fruit, and some cola. The flavor is incredibly metallic. Plenty of roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, and a fairly sweet toffee maltiness. Some hints of dark fruit, a bit of cola, and a light sourness. Really not very good.

tomada en Brujas con Angel77 y Octavio. Bok suave. Bastante gas que esconde el sabor. Esta correcta.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 Botella 33 cl. Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan. Walplein 26, 8000 Brugge, Bélgica. Tomada en Brugge 15..09..2017. (r155). Buena.

Bottle. Foggy amber ale with decent off-white head. Aroma & taste: caramel, toffee, spicy yeast, dried fruit. Solid one.

Bottle 33 cl. pours a clear amber to brown with a mediumoff-white head and an aroma of toasted malts, toffee, dry barley malts, corander, herbs, childs candy, forest, banana and yeast. The taste is medium sweet with some slight bitterness in the finish

SVD (2052) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 18, 2016
Bottle at home, best before date August 2015. Brown beer, large head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, well it has aged somewhat decent.

sjogro (4405) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2016
Bottle at home. Hazy brown with grayish off white head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel, dry malts, barley, vegetal hops, coriander, gum ball, abuse, dry old leaves, big Belgian yeast presence. Moderate sweet and bitter. Under medium body, average carbonation. Bittersweet finish.

Niestety aromat i smak wypadają blado. Słodowa chlebowość i karmel mieszają się z nutami kwiatowymi drożdży belgijskich. Szczypiąca przyprawowość nie pomaga w przyswajaniu tego piwa, które wydawało mi się cienkie i wodniste. Stanowczo zbyt słodkie i mało złożone. Na kolana nie rzuca.

Samea tummanruskea olut vaahtoaa varsin runsaasti. Hetken laskeuduttuaan vaahtoa jää pieni kerros oluen pinnalle. Kuitenkin ihan ok.

The beer looks nice. The color of the beer is a nice ruby red. The beer is quite clear and nice little bubles rise towards the top. On top a nice layer of almond colored silky smooth foam is formed. The foam remains on top of the beer for quite some time. It’s very nice. The smell is s bit mild. There is some almond, some caramel and toffee. There are some mild bitter and sweet aromas, quite in good balance but a little to mild. The taste is a bit better. It has also some almondy alcohol flavors. There is also some caramel and toffee and a touch of licorice. The beer is a bit mild and plain. I expected more a bit of it. There are better bokbieren.
