COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Unfiltered. Keg.
Brugse Zot Dubbel is a dark brown beer, inclining towards ruby red. It is brewed with six special varieties of malt, which give the beer a rich and distrinctive aroma. One can discover the scent of honey, almonds, chocolate and brown sugar. By using the Czech Saaz hop from Zatec, the beer has a complex palate of roasted malts and a distrinctive flavour. Brugse Zot Dubbel is known to leave a warm glow in the mouth with a bitter and hoppy finish, leaning towards liquorice and coffee roast. Bottle conditioned.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, sugar, Saaz hops, yeast.

From a bottle in a nice canal-side brasserie in Bruges. Pours a hazy mahogany with a tan head. Malty nose. Flavors of toffee and caramel. Crisp and clean finish. Pretty tasty.

33 cl.

MonsterMagnet (1444) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2017
Bottle, pours reddish brown with an off white head. Sweet aroma with toffee, nuts, brown sugar and dates. High carbonation makes the sweetness well bearable. Not special, but quite ok.

Paladares (229) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 4, 2017
Botella. Color marrón muy oscuro, casi negro. Abundante espuma. Aroma a caramelo y fruto tropical.

Corpo medio, ben carbonata.

0.33l bottle. Looks superb this. A massive really light and near fluffy beige head over a dark brownish bronze colored body. On the nose it’s really sweet and dark candied. Dark caramelly, lots of nutty toasty elements. Dark dried berries. Smells like it should, and it smells nice. It’s not surprising high on the carbonation this and it has a mild oily texture in the mouth. Again, dark and a little sugary in the mouth. Not sweet at all, but it has that darkness from sugar or syrup. Earthy elements, mild nutty yeast. It’s not very complex but it tastes and smells like it should. Sometimes that’s enough. 25.02.2017

sinte (568) - Udine, ITALY - FEB 23, 2017
Bottle 0.75L. Hazy, dark copper-to-brown body with an average, frothy, tan head, mostly lasting with some lacing. Moderate malty (caramel, roasted) aroma with notes of red fruits. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavour with an average lasting sweet finish. Light-to-medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation: light alcoholic feeling in the finish.

czlowiekwiadro (977) - POLAND - FEB 22, 2017
