3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 0.33l. Hazy dark brown color with large frothy brownish head, no distinctive lacing, but remains a lot of yeast residue. Aroma of caramel malt, strawberries, cherries and spicy hops. Taste starts sour fruity with some raspberry, too. Then followed by spicy malt, which is substantially present in the aftertaste, too. Alcohol is well hidden, hops, apparently are hidden, too. Full body, sticky texture and fizzy natural carbonation in palate. A bit disappointing, expected much more...

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2018 Une bière très maltée, légèrement amère et épicée avec des notes de caramel et de cannelle. Plutôt pas mal. bergstaden (3327) - Røros, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2017
Amber with off white head - Malt aroma with caramel and some spicy yesty tones - Malt body with a nice caramel flavour with some spicy belgian yesty flavours - The malt and spicy flavour goes into the finish - This was good rodsquad (380) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - DEC 8, 2017
Bottle from Beermerchants. Simply superb on the pour. Deep shiny ruby with a thick fluffy tan head. Aromas of sharp berry and chewy toffee sweetness. Fruity with a little sherbet. A dry vinous quality at the end. Flavours match on sweet and fruity. A sharp berry is what stands out. Mild earthiness on the finish. The beer feels medium full. It has a real bubbly effervescence that feels like a celebration beer. It’s sweet and fruity with a mild sharpness that plays nicely against the earthy fresh finish. Very enjoyable. I thought it was going to be a stand out for me but didn’t quite make it. Bricktop86 (937) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 3, 2017

330ml brown bottle. Zot pours out of the bottle a hazy dark brown, the head is surprisingly lively and pillowly, great looking beer in the glass. The aroma of this beer is upfront with beligan yeast notes, fruity notes of raisins and soft chocolate come in later. In the mouth the beer shows notes of sourish bitter chocolate malts, raisin and light toasty notes. Carboantion is very lively and borders on prickly on the tongue. Aftertaste is soft and chocolatey with grains. Overall a pleasant dubbel, not my favourite example of the style but absolutely worth a pour... ThaMasterz (4) - - NOV 7, 2017 does not count

33cl bottle from Iperconad, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful reddish brown, dark, with fine brownish foam. Aroma is caramel, fruits under spirits, cherries. Body is average with good carbonation. Just a bit of stickiness. Taste is definitely sweet, with minimum bitterness. Finish is average in length, but with a nice liquor feeling coming through the back of the nose. metalspice (1142) - Jevnaker, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2017
Klart brunt med lavt skum. Mye banan og noe nøtter og karamell i duften. Banan også i smaken, her også sammen med karamell og nøtter. En besk avslutning trekker ned helhetsinntrykket.
