11.2oz Bottle. The pour was a murky gold with a light brown hue and a small (1 finger or less) white fizzy head that diminished rapidly down to a thin film with a small collar, which did create some fair runny lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt and a musty doughy yeast with notes of apple, pears, banana and a hint of spice. The taste was very malty with a nice fruity ester from the beginning, and then progressed with a strong yeast presence and a mild spicy bitterness towards the end. The flavor lingered for an average amount of time after the swallow, with a mild alcohol warming sensation at the very end. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a ticklish carbonation. Overall this was a somewhat light Strong Ale both in body and in flavor, although it does offer an exceptionally smooth drinkability...

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with huge head. Nose is low on belgian yeast and sugar. Aroma is on the same, no real dominant in the aroma, dusty touch, coriander, peppery hops, quite basic.

F: big, white, long lasting then collapsing. C: deep gold orange, hazy. A: malt, spicy, orange peels, hint of nutty but strange way, banana, yeast. T: malt, dough, peach, hint of grassy, peach, apple, banana, medium body, medium carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, nothing special but I expected worse, 75cl bottle from Carrefour market - Saint-Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

corkyrory66 (1917) - BELGIUM - MAR 24, 2016

33cl bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a cloudy golden orange colour with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is fresh, malty and hoppy, herbal/floral notes, banana. Taste is sweetish malt, spices, yeast, citrus fruit.

JaKeAFC (1121) - ITALY - FEB 14, 2016
33 cl bottle. Light orange color, hazed, lots of sediment. Big creamy white head. Punchy smell. Pale malts with yellow fruits and yeast. Light hops leading to a light bitter finish, taste sugary overall. Medium bodied, well hidden ABV, short spicy finish.
